Terms of Service
How WESTQEM online consultations are scoped, delivered, and used.
The services
WESTQEM CORP provides online home and garden consulting, including home planning, room styling, décor and furniture selection, garden and outdoor space planning, product research, home organization, and related advisory services. The website lists individual offerings and prices. A service begins only after the scope and terms have been accepted.
Services are remote and advisory. They do not include physical installation, purchasing products on a client’s behalf, construction, engineering, site surveying, code compliance certification, or licensed professional work unless a separate written arrangement explicitly says otherwise and the appropriate qualifications are present.
Enquiries and agreement
An enquiry is a request for information, not an accepted booking. We may ask for photographs, measurements, location, goals, budget, deadlines, or other details needed to understand the work. We will identify the selected service, the areas covered, the planned format, price, timing, and any agreed materials before work starts.
The website contact form only checks that required fields are completed and displays a message in the browser. It does not submit the information. To place an actual enquiry, contact us directly using the email address below. No service is formed solely by clicking the form button.
Client information and cooperation
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for identifying constraints that may affect advice, including access limitations, existing conditions, household requirements, property rules, and a workable budget. Dimensions supplied remotely should be checked on site before ordering any item or engaging a contractor.
You should have permission to share photographs and details of the property. Delays in receiving needed information may affect the timing of a consultation. If important facts change, tell us before relying on earlier guidance.
Guidance and materials
The selected service and written scope control the depth of the consultation and whether any notes, shortlists, concepts, or other materials are included. Where a particular number of revisions, meetings, or follow-up questions is important, it should be stated in the written agreement; it is not unlimited by default.
Ideas and recommendations are intended to support your own evaluation. Images, examples, or product comparisons may illustrate a direction but cannot establish exact fit or guarantee how a finished space will look. You decide whether and how to implement the advice.
Product and specialist decisions
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, WESTQEM does not sell the furniture, plants, tools, or other products it discusses. Third-party sellers control product specifications, stock, prices, shipment, warranty, and returns. Verify these details, as well as samples and dimensions, before purchase.
For structural changes, electrical or smart-home installation, planting suitability, drainage, utilities, permits, accessibility modifications, and other site-specific issues, consult the relevant qualified local professional. Our advisory scope does not replace that review.
Fees, changes, and cancellation
Displayed service prices are stated in US dollars for the listed offering. An agreed change to the work may require a revised price or schedule, which should be approved before additional work begins. Product purchases and third-party professional fees are separate unless a written agreement says otherwise.
Payments and invoices follow the accepted arrangement. Requests to cancel or reschedule, and any eligible refund, are handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the specific written agreement, subject to applicable law. A monthly service should state its term and any renewal arrangement expressly.
Use of work and confidentiality
Once the agreed fee is paid, you may use the advice and materials supplied for your own property and the purpose for which they were prepared. Reproducing or reselling them as a consulting product for others requires permission. Pre-existing methods, general know-how, and third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
We treat nonpublic project information with reasonable care and address personal information under the Privacy Policy. Public display of your project details or photographs should be separately authorized.
Concerns and updates
If a service does not appear to match the accepted scope, contact us with the relevant details so we can review the issue and consider an appropriate response. Mandatory legal rights are preserved.
These service terms may be updated for future engagements. A later website revision does not automatically alter an already accepted service agreement. The effective details for a project are those in the accepted written scope and applicable policies.
