Accessibility Statement

Our approach to making WESTQEM information and services easier to use.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Commitment

WESTQEM CORP aims to make information about its online home and garden consulting services accessible to as many visitors as reasonably possible. We consider readability, keyboard use, meaningful labels, clear navigation, and adaptable layouts important parts of the website experience.

Accessibility is an ongoing practice rather than a one-time declaration. This statement does not claim certification or full conformance with a particular technical standard without an independent assessment of the deployed site.

Website features

The site is designed with semantic headings, labeled navigation, visible text alternatives for meaningful images, and form fields with labels and browser validation. Service details open in dialog windows that can be closed, and frequently asked questions use expandable controls. Layouts are intended to adapt to smaller screens.

Actual accessibility can be affected by the Shopify theme, browser, custom apps, uploaded images, font loading, and later edits. If the theme or content changes, the combined live experience should be checked again with keyboard, screen reader, zoom, and mobile testing.

Known limitations and alternatives

A particular image, third-party tool, embedded service, or newly added page may present a barrier. A visitor may also prefer to receive a service description or policy in a different usable format. We welcome notice of a specific problem so it can be investigated.

If a form or dialog does not work for you, contact us directly using the email or phone text below. The site’s enquiry form does not transmit messages, so direct email is also the route for submitting a consultation request.

Feedback process

When reporting an accessibility issue, please identify the page or feature, describe what happened, and, if comfortable, provide the browser, device, and assistive technology involved. Do not include sensitive health details unless they are necessary to explain your request.

We will review the report, look for a practical solution, and communicate through the contact channel you provide. The time needed may vary with the issue and any third-party component involved.

Ongoing review

Accessibility guidance and website technology evolve. We intend to review significant design changes, prioritize barriers that prevent access to core information or the ability to enquire, and make reasonable improvements as issues are identified.

A written statement alone does not make a site accessible. If the live implementation differs from the design described here, the statement should be revised to match what visitors actually experience.

Contact

For accessibility assistance, alternative access to information, or feedback about a barrier, use the contact information listed at the end of this page. We also welcome suggestions about the readability and clarity of our policies and service descriptions.

Review priorities

A practical accessibility review should focus first on whether visitors can reach the service information, understand prices, open and close service details, navigate with a keyboard, read content at increased zoom, and find an alternative way to contact the company. Color contrast, focus visibility, headings, labels, and image alternatives should be tested on the live pages.

Automated checks can identify some issues but do not replace manual testing with actual interaction. Any third-party theme change, app, or new image may require another review of affected pages.

Documents and communication

If a policy or service description is difficult to read or use, you can ask for its contents in a more accessible text format. Please identify the page and the format that would help, if you know it. We will review what can reasonably be provided based on the content and available tools.

We do not require a visitor to disclose a disability or diagnosis in order to report a website barrier. Feedback can focus simply on the task that could not be completed. Personal information included in an enquiry is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
